Disney O'Hana Banana Pineapple Bread Pudding with Caramel Banana Sauce

Disney O'HANA Banana Pineapple Bread Pudding with Caramel Banana Sauce!

This tasted EXACTLY like the end dessert at O'Hana at The Polynesian Village resort.
(I feel like I had enough liquid left over to make a lasagna pan size dessert, you would just have to add more sweet rolls, and put into a 9x13 pan.)

12 Hawaiian Bread Rolls
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 bananas, mashed
2 cups crushed pineapple, drained
1 pint half and half
1 pint whole milk
4 tablespoons vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
6 eggs
For caramel Sauce:
1 cup caramel sauce (I used caramel ice cream topping)
2 bananas, sliced
Vanilla Ice Cream
---------
Butter a 9-inch square baking dish. (I used cooking spray)
Cute the rolls into 4 pieces. (Put cut rolls into baking dish.)
In a large bowl, mix together the eggs,  nutmeg, brown sugar, vanilla & cinnamon  Mix well.
Add in the half and half, stir. Stir in the milk.
Add crushed pineapple and mashed bananas. Stir
Pour milk mixture over the bread cubes and toss well. Make sure all of the bread is nicely coated. (I had a good amount of liquid left, so much I really think I could have made two)
Press down the bread and liquid.
Cover with foil and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight, or until the liquid is absorbed (I let mine sit overnight).
Once the bread pudding is ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 350F.
Bake for an hour and 10 minutes
For Caramel Sauce:
In a medium sauce pan, heat caramel on low heat. Add slice bananas and stir. Cook for about 5 minute . Don not cook this too quickly or with the heat up too high or you will burn the caramel.

Add vanilla to each serving and pour the caramel sauce over the top.
