Cinnamon French Toast Casserole
2 loafs French Bread
9 large eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup (or table syrup)
1-2 tsp. cinnamon
8-oz. whipped cream cheese
Preheat oven to 350° F. cube the bread. Combine eggs, milk, syrup and cinnamon in a large bowl and whisk thoroughly. Spray a 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray. Spread half of bread in the bottom of pan. Drop teaspoons full of cream cheese over layer of bread. Spread remaining bread over top, making sure to cover as much of the cream cheese as possible. Pour egg mixture evenly over top. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes.
Make night before, refrigerate and put in the oven in the morning.
