1 1/2 cups of pecan pieces
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup light or dark corn syrup
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
9 inch deep dish
Frozen (or homemade) unbaked pie shell
Spread pecans on a baking sheet and bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes or until toasted.
Stir together eggs and next 5 ingredient, stir in pecans.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 350* for 55 minutes or until set.
Shield pie with aluminum foil after 20 minutes of baking.
